These Terms & Agreement ("Terms") govern your use of the services provided by Tenant Place LLC ("Tenant Place," "we," "us," or "our"), including our housing platform and our text (SMS) messaging program. By using our services or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms.

1. Our Service

Tenant Place LLC helps Section 8 housing voucher holders find rental properties that accept their vouchers. We share available listings, send alerts, and help coordinate tours and applications. We do not own the properties, and we do not guarantee placement, approval, or availability of any specific home. Final rental decisions are made by landlords and property managers.

2. Text Messaging (SMS) Program

By providing your mobile number and opting in through our sign-up form, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Tenant Place LLC about available properties that accept your voucher, tour reminders, service updates, and replies to your inquiries.

Program terms:
  • Message frequency varies based on property availability.
  • Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts.
  • Reply HELP for help, or contact us at hello@housingchoice.org.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No mobile information or SMS opt-in data is shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of using our housing services.

3. Your Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, to use our services lawfully, and to only submit a mobile number that belongs to you or that you are authorized to enroll. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.

4. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

5. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
